Face procedures
Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Upper and lower eyelids can be the first areas to reveal signs of ageing. In severe cases, vision may be impaired because of overhanging upper eyelids.
Surgery to improve the position of the lids and remove or reposition excess soft tissues can be very effective at enhancing the facial appearance by refreshing the ‘periorbital’ area. This surgery is known as blepharoplasty.
Otoplasty
Prominent ears are not always a concern. But for some people, especially children, they can be a cause for embarrassment and teasing. Otoplasty is an operation that brings the ears back into a more aesthetically pleasing alignment with the head, and sometimes a part of the ear is also reduced.
The aim is to achieve harmony. An over-operated look is best avoided.
Lip Augmentation and Lift
Lip augmentation has become a much requested procedure in the last few years. Augmentation can be achieved through injection of natural filler materials or fat. The aim is to achieve a natural result which is not out of harmony with the rest of the face. In a surgical procedure Dr Chopra would use fat to enhance the lips.
A lip lift procedure is a short operation which elevates an excessively long upper lip and enhances the lip’s aesthetic features, which can have a profound rejuvenating effect. This may be done alone or in combination with other facial surgery.
Brow Lift
The degree and nature of a drooping or sagging brow (brow ptosis) is highly variable. It may be of benefit for some people to have the position and/or shape of the brow altered to optimise their appearance. This may be through a number of different surgical and non surgical approaches.
